Is it true that getting your hair trimmed regularly speeds up hair growth?

This is what my mom told me but I don't know that it's true.Is it true that getting your hair trimmed regularly speeds up hair growth?
It doesn't speed up growth, but it does promote growth. My hair's length had reached a stalemate (it wouldn't get past six inches!) But when i started to get it trimmed every six weeks, it began growing again and it actually reached 9 inches before I cut it off again. :-)Is it true that getting your hair trimmed regularly speeds up hair growth?
No, Not true...nothing will really speed the growth of your hair up...Trimming your hair is just basically keeping your hair healthy looking.
Nope, what happens with the hair shaft has nothing to do with the growth of the hair at the root.
lol no it wont? It will fix the split ends... What does cutting the bottom of your hair hair to do with the top? Your hair grows 1-3 inches a month.
