I usually wash mine, let it air dry, sleep on it, and put a little syrum on in the morning. The horrible thing about that is that when I wake up, it's kinda wavy, flat, and just looks horrible. However, I am always VERY pressed for time in the morning ( under one hour), and blowdrying makes my hair super puffy.Hey guys. This is a question for all you curly haired people. When is th e best time to style curly hair?
Curly hair needs to be styled when it's wet - once it dries, the shape of the curls is completely out of your hands. For my (very rushed!) morning routine, I towel dry it when I get out of the shower, put some gel or curl creme in the damp hair, scrunch, and let it dry a little bit while I do my makeup, get ready. Then I blow dry with a diffuser (keeps it from getting poofy) for 5-10 minutes.
You can do all this at night before you go to bed. When you wake up, use a curl spray product (I like John Frieda Dream Curls and Aveda Light Elements) to reactivate the curls and blow dry to keep it from being flat.Hey guys. HEYYY!
BEST THING TO DO
NEVER FAILS
If you are in a rush in the mornings
Then simply WET or DAMPEN your hair, (not so much it drips everywhere)
Twist some bigger and smaller sections just around your finger then release
then continue with your day
throughout the day your hair will naturally curl into ringlets or find its own natural style
This also prevents frizz and damage.
ONE THING NEVER TO DO THOUGH
Once dry
DO NOT BRUSH IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
THis causes hair to go FRIZZY and GREASY
If desired, simply tease hair with a LOOSE toothed anti static comb to get some definition
Curly hair is great because you can just wet it and it looks AMAZING
Good Luck Gorgeous ;)
Hope I Helped
