How do you style curly hair?

I have thick curly hair, how can i wear it down without it getting to frizzy and poofy?How do you style curly hair?

well i use this aussie stuff

it's leave in conditioner and you get it in flexible hold, it's SOO good! plus it doesn't get that nasty crunch like other stuff
