How do you style curly hair without using gel?

I just recently became allergic to gel, i have curly hair and i used gel every day.

I have been using different hair products, but by the end of the day my hair is extremely frizzy.

i use moose when i get out of the shower, but i dont wash my hair every day being thats bad for your hair, and it take my hair all day to dry.

Any ideas?How do you style curly hair without using gel?
ok I have curly hair and have literally tried millions of different products for my crazy locks. I tend to dislike gel because it leaves my curls kinda crunchy so I love using a combination of leave-in conditioner (really helps control the frizz) and a mousse/gel/hairspray.



For leave in creme conditioner I use the orange bottle by Herbal Essence (Idk the special name but it smells great, like Mandarin?)



I love a little bit of Garnier Fructis Style Curl sculpting creme gel (don't know if you can use this?) and twist my fingers in my curls to seal out the frizz. (My fave mousse is Aussie %26amp; Catwalk)



Then if its a super frizzy day I will seal all of this with Aussie Mega Hold hairspray (to make it not crunchy lightly scrunch up your hair)

you can add mouse and use a diffuser to dry it so it keeps a nice curl then just add some hair spray and it should last all day...as for the next day you can just spray your hair with a little bit of water and dry it with the diffuser again...this time you wont need any other products because the mouse and hairspray will still be in your hair from the day before...other than that idk what else to do except maybe straightening your hair. hope it helps.
