Any tips for speeding up hair growth?

I am growing out my hair, and i heard that vitamin E makes it grow faster...is this true? Any other helpful tips?Any tips for speeding up hair growth?
No vit E will not make your hair grow faster. There are different vits, and nutrients that can help with healthy and shiny hair, but hair will grow in its own good time, you cant hurry it up. Any tips for speeding up hair growth?
vitamin E improves condition, it doesn't speed up growth, just makes it stronger. hair is made of keratin which is a type of protein, so it helps if you eat lots of protein, i found mine grows best when i eat lots of jelly( i think some people call it jello) and that's high in protein.
ok....heres what I do, I take a pre-natal vitamin every morning and evening and I keep the dead, split ends trimmed and I am able to grow my hair fast enough to donate 12'; every 18 months to locks of love.
My mum always says that a nice trim when your hair is looking split endy, that it will grow faster.


So just give it a very short trim and it should grow back pretty fast!
