Are there any tricks to speed up hair growth?

I recently got a bad haircut, and was wondering if there was anything I could to grow my hair out fasterAre there any tricks to speed up hair growth?
i'd try that new pantene shampoo out.. beautiful lengths, i think it's called?

also, get it trimmed regularly. split ends will stop it from growing / slow the growing process wayyyy down.

try wearing a hat or beanie as often as you could cos yeh my dads such an old bag yet his hair grows fast after each haircut he gets - cos he wears hats or beanies all day everyday!!
