Does birth control pills stop hair growth?

As in excess hair growth, for instance if you shave/remove it, will it grow back again?Does birth control pills stop hair growth?

Hormonal birth control can slow hair growth that is accelerated by PCOS; so if you have abnormal hair growth because of a hormonal imbalance, correcting this imbalance will reduce the hair growth and may stop male-pattern hair growth altogether.





For women who don't have a hormonal imbalance, hormonal birth control isn't known to accelerate or slow body hair growth. I have heard of people losing hair on some birth control methods (usually Depo), and have heard others that noticed their hair grew slightly faster while on birth control, but neither have been found in clinical tests.





If you are looking to slow the growth of unwanted body hair, you may want to look into waxing or epilating. Both of these remove the hair root and it takes longer to grow back than shaving or using chemical hair removal products.
Well Birth control pill do have side effects on some women and not all of them. But I dont know if any one had problems as hair loss. I guess there is no such thing so dont worry but please dont take any pill to remove excess hair.
