or is it a myth?
if its true, i don't understand how getting a trim would help because what do the ends of your hairs have to do with your hair growing?Does getting a trim really speed up hair growth?
I think it's a myth too. I did that for 3 years, every two weeks go to the salon and get my hair done, then every 6 weeks get a relaxer and a trim. But, honestly after I went natural I stopped with the trims and my hair is almost the length that it used to be before I had it cut into a bob. So, my hair has grown about 1 and 1/2 inch within a year without trimming it, which is no slower than when I used to get it trimmed. But, hairstylists will always tell you that... I think it's so that they can gradually make your hair shorter and then eventually charge you more to do your hair when it's shorter.Does getting a trim really speed up hair growth?
its a myth. it will only make it look healthier. think about it..how does trimming the ends of your hair alter the hair follicle in any way?
i think the truth to that story is..if you get a trim it takes away a huge chance of hair breakage which would make your hair seem like its stopped growing.
its true! if u havent cut ur hair in a while..the growth rate slows cuz it thinks its like full..but when u trim it, u trick ur hair, and it starts the rate again as if u just had a buzz cut growin some hair again..and even if it is a myth..it makes hair healthier..which itself can lead to healthier growth
no way just a myth, it just makes your hair look healthier, and feel better
good luck, hope ive helped
