Does regular depilation stop hair growth?

Hey, i hv noticed that the hairs on ppl's bodies grow to a certain length and stop. So does this mean that regular depilation, like shaving or trimming, might fool the hair follicle into thinking that it has grown out into its full length? Will it maybe slow down future regrowth?Does regular depilation stop hair growth?
Hi!

Erm you can buy something from argos which stops hair growth!! x xDoes regular depilation stop hair growth?
no it will make it grow back faster.
i have noticed that too, when i shave my legs, but can't trick ur hair! Even tho it may trick u!
I'm not sure what depilation is but you can get some laser hair treatment if you want to get rid of any hair that you have.
laser hair removal and the time consuming electrolysis are good techniques. Waxing rips the roots out, so it takes longer for hair to grow back, and it come in thinner.
My friend thought so, but actually no. That is a thing that many people think, but is actually not true. The hair cannot be ';tricked';. The hair knows that once it is cut, it will now grow to it's full length.
I heard shaving makes hair growth faster.
Hair grows to a certain lengts, stops, sheds, and starts again.

Depilation simply speeds up the process of it shedding but it still starts growing again as soon as it has been pulled out/shaved off
heyy!!

no, trimming or shaving doesnt slow down future hair growth..sometimes, actually, it makes it grow longer and way thicker! so yea
