Olive oil hair spray and growth oil - I use it
I've heard good things about Don't -B-Bald / Don't-B-Dry
Sulfur 8 smells a little but it promotes growth - mom used it when i was little
Glovers smells a bit too but it also works - again my mother used it on me.
I'm getting ready to try something called Shapley's MTG - A lot of people say it works and really fast too but it smells awful. Some other people complain that it was meant for horses ... anyway i ordered it by mail so when i get it I'll see how it works and let you know.Good Hair Growth Products for African Americans?

You need to go natural. Try using jojoba and/or sweet almond oil periodically (first, lightly spritz hair w/ water to moisturize, then follow with a light oil to lock in moisture).
You also need to prevent breakage so try to stay away from
1) fine toothed combs - they pull hair out
2) hair gel - dries hair out
3) rubber bands - puts too much strain on hair
4) detergents - really dries out black hair. You know you can wash your hair with just olive oil and/or conditioner
5) heat - dont use heat more than once a week its VERY damaging to our hair!
Also:
- Wrap your hair every night and then tie it up with a SATIN scarf.
- Push perms back to 8-10 wks at the very least. (This one is a big necessity)
- Stick to a simple routine; dont apply too many things
- Dont expect an overnight solution this will definitely take time. There is NO miracle grow for anyone's hair and any product that says so is lying! Good luck!
