Speed up hair growth?

Hey I was just wondering if anybody knew of products or things I can do to help my hair grow faster. Last year before school started I cut my hair really short, it was just past my ears. Since then, it has only grown a couple of inches. Now its just past my shoulders. In the past Ive had really long hair and I really miss it. My hair is wavy and its pretty thick. It just wont grow! Ive heard that diet and exercise are crucial to hair growth, I do both. Are they any inexpensive solutions or home remedies? Thanks a bunch. Speed up hair growth?

i heard to rub your scalp every night... but im not completely sure if it works. it cant hurt to try;)
use olive oil,its the best,my sis had damaged her hair by colourin them n dey became very thin,but by continious using of olive oil she've found them growing thicker n heavier,its difficult to use oily kinda thingies,but dey leave very very good effect on hairs

One of my friends said that taking vitamins specially formulated for pregnant women helped her hair and nails grow better.
I have a great way that is inexpensive. One way is to eat fish. Fish has a lot of key vitamins and minerals to help your hair grow long. Any type of fish will do. Cod, catfish, trout. And if you are allergic to fish or just don't like fish, you can eat a vitamin called fish oil.

Try massaging ur scalp 2-5 times daily. and put ur hair back into a tight pony tail so tht ur will stretch out. I know a lot of ppl who put their hair into a ponytail tht have hair growing quicker. Also dont believe those ppl who say ur hair can only grow 1/2 n inch a month cuz i kno ppl whose hair grows an inch or 2 a month.

regular trims is a must and i use vitamin e on my hair. makes it grow really fast but takes about a month to kick in. nothing works over night or i a few days.
