What should I do? Hair growth problem?

I had peach fuzz on my stomach, just like everyone does, but i didn't like how it looked so i started lightly shaving it to have it completely smooth. It is like i disrupted my hair follicles, now right under my belly button it grows in dark and even when there is no hair there you can tell that it has to be shaved. i don't know what to do and if there is anything that can be done. I was considering starting to maybe wax it, it's not a big area just like from the bottom of my belly button and about a half inch down. If the waxing does help with the hair growth part does anyone know of any cremes or anything of that type to help my skin so you cannot tell it is shaved? Any help would be great. Thank you in advance, only serious answers please. What should I do? Hair growth problem?
This is going to sound like a bizarre answer, but here's what I suggest. Do nothing. Leave it alone. Give it 6 months to do whatever it's going to do and at that point, make a decision as to what you want to do about it. Amazingly enough, you just might decide that it isn't enough to worry about it, or... if you're a guy, you might decide that it's just fine the way it is. Your other options of course will be to use a razor, creme or wax to remove it.

Don't be so hard on yourself for shaving it to begin with, the results you see now are simply the hair growing back in again, which is why I recommend leaving it alone for awhile to see what the ';true'; results will be. From what I've read in the past, shaving hair anywhere has no affect whatsoever as far as increasing the hair growth or even the color and what we ';think'; is increased hair growth actually isn't. All it is is the hair growing back in, which will look different at that point then it will when it actually has grown in all the way. I hope that makes sense. What should I do? Hair growth problem?
Try just letting it grow completely back in and then see how it looks. When you shave hair, it grows back with a curved tip which makes it stubbly and look darker, but once it grows a bit, it should look identical to the hair that you first removed.
