ON AVERAGE HAIR GROWS HALF AN INCH PER MONTH. some more some less. AND THE TALE ABOUT CUTTING OFF THE SPLIT ENDS MAKES IT GROW FASTER IS A MYTH!!!!! IM SOOOO SICK OF PPL SAYING THAT!!! I LEARNED ALL ABOUT THE HAIR IN BEAUTY SCHOOL!!!! HAIR GROWS FROM THE FOLICLE IN THE SCALP...NOT FROM THE ENDS!!!! DUHH!!! sure, cutting the split ends off will make it look heathlier, and prevent it from splitting more. if you dont cut off spilt ends they keep splitting, the strands of hair with spits dont stop growing DUHH, they just look bad. you should get a trim every 4-6 weeks depending of how fast it grows and how many split ends you have .and if your ends are really dry and split, use a deep conditioning treatment or cera repair from biolage.
also at vitamin stores there are hair and skin vitamins you can take, and prenatal pills also!!! you dont have to b prego to take them, theyre just super vitamins!!!
at times due to genetics and chronic illness the hair growth cycle can be disrupted by many hair loss conditions and diseases. The best way to prevent the Hair structure from becoming dismantled is to learn as much as you can about your families genetics as well as the different types of hair conditions, so you will be aware of them and know how to protect and treat yourself if you develop any hair loss conditions.
good luckNot your typical hair growth problem?
Stress, poor nutrition.
Maybe your not eating healthy enough, or your worried too often, not sleeping enough etc. Try to just stay cool, and continue to get your dead ends trimmed. Blow-dry,flat iron, and curl your hair less, if you have to on low heat setting. Massage your scalp with an oil. (olive, coconut, grape seed, castor) If you Have dry hair and the smell isn't noticeable leave it in until you wash your hair. If you have oily hair leave on for an hour or so and then rinse out. Repeat at least once a week. Use hair treatments. You make find homemade recipe's online or you can buy them at a salon or local hair supply store. Drink green tea often. That's what I do! GL!
Each person has a spot where there hair naturally stops growing, whther it be below the waist, or at the shoulders. I had a friend whose hair didn't even touch her shoulders. It's natural, don't worry about it. :)
