Any tips on how to get my locks long?Speed up hair growth?
seriously consider getting a trim 3-6weeks to remove as much damage as possible. Revert back to your natural hair color or wait for it to grow out. especially if you've dyed your hair on a different spectrum. So, it's best to rid of all the factors that cause damages to your hair. But don't worry, if you start off with minimal damage then you'll be most likely to achieve your goal sooner. So don't cringe at the sight of shorter hair, just think of the long-term goal instead of the short-term phase.
NUTRITION %26amp; DIET
* Alright once we've over-looked the HAIR CONDITIONS, you want to look at your overall NUTRITION %26amp; DIET. Because these are key to maximizing your hair. After all, everything requires NUTRITION, so why not do it properly?
* Remember that your HAIR GROWTH RATE will be at its MAXIMUM, when you are at your healthiest.
* Hair consists of protein, so be sure that you are getting enough of protein. Incorporate foods from all food groups, such as nuts, poultry, vegetables, fruits, grains %26amp; etc. All of these factors contribute to hair health and growth. So a well-balanced diet will be beneficial to your overall health.
* I have a guilty pleasure of consuming bacon, because it is rich in B-COMPLEXES %26amp; PROTEIN. Though this particular food ,is not highly recommended for consumption because it can add inches to your waistline. Either ways, I'm not suggesting that you should eat a pound of bacon, but everything in moderation should be just fine.
* Next what you want to do is consider taking a daily multi-vitamin supplement. There are many options on the market now. I prefer CENTRUM, but I have dabbed at the other brands. Though when picking out a multi-vitamin, make sure that you research the multi-vitamins which may work best for you. Because there are all different types of ingredients that may or may not be beneficial to you.
* If you prefer not to taking a multi-vitamin then here are some other vitamins and minerals that are believed to contribute to hair growth are: BIOTIN, BETA-CAROTENE, BIOSIL, B-COMPLEXES, MAGNESIUM, ZINC %26amp; FLAXSEED OIL.
* There is another alternative to taking a multi-vitamin that I have found in some health stores and they are AMINO ACID SUPPLEMENTS. AMINO ACIDS are the building blocks of protein as I learned from BIOLOGY and they are long chains. Hench, chains of protein. They are found in foods of animal origin, such as meat, poultry, fish eggs and diary products. So once again one may assume that using AMINO ACID SUPPLEMENT can only make hair grow faster, since it is the building blocks of protein.
STIMULATE BLOOD FLOW
* This is necessary for increasing and maximizing hair growth. There are two main ways to STIMULATE BLOOD FLOW to the scalp. One is CARDIO and the other is by MASSAGING THE SCALP.
* If you do CARDIO, it helps blood flow throughout your entire body, but it's good to exercise once in a while. I like to play WII FIT an hour everyday, to keep my health up regularly and increase blood circulation through my body. If not then I like to dance for an hour or two on DDR to keep this jumping.
* The second thing that is really easy to do is massaging your scalp. You can achieve this on a daily basis while your shampooing %26amp; conditioning your hair. Make sure that when you lather on the shampoo %26amp; conditioner move your fingers in circular motion as you evenly distribute the products throughout your head. This will help STIMULATE BLOOD FLOW and keep massaging your scalp gently.
AVOID EXCESSIVENESS
* There are a few things and other preventative measures that you want to avoid doing, in order to increase and maximize your HAIR GROWTH RATE.
* Don't over brush your hair. Simply because, it can cause tears in your hair and if you do try not to do it so excessively, especially if your hair tends to be on the dryer side of the spectrum.
* Don't over wash your hair. Now, I'm not saying that you should cease washing your hair everyday, but you should retain some of the natural oils that your scalp produces. For instant, I wash my hair everyday but I alternate days where I use heavy shampoo %26amp; light conditioner and then I go light on the shampoo and increase the amount of my conditioner. That way, your still getting the cleanliness but your restoring moisture back in your hair. I hope this makes sense.
* Don't pull your hair back. This is for all you girls who put your hair up in an elastic band. This is horrible for your hair, especially if you wear your hair in a ponytail everyday. By putting your hair up in a ponytail holder, you increase breakage at the site where your elastic is. Plus it strands the roots of your hair, so limit extra tension on your scalp.
* Limit exposure to drying agents. For instant, don't stay out in the sun too long, wear a hat. The sun can be very drying to the hair, especially during the summertime. Also if you鈥檙e an avid swimmer, try using conditioner more often. Speed up hair growth?
eat well, take a hair and nail growth vitamin, excersise, use a hair growth serum like indian hemp by softee's(you can get it at walmart)
eat a lot of protein, avoid heat styling, and get regular trims to remove split-ends.
