is it really the vitamin.. or does your hair grow faster when you are pregnant because of hormonal changes...To the people who suggest taking prenatal vitamins to speed up hair growth...?
I've read that hormones will make your hair grow faster. However, if you regularly take any multi-vitamin I would assume your hair would grow a bit faster. Maybe not a lot, but it would at least make it healthier. To the people who suggest taking prenatal vitamins to speed up hair growth...?
It may be a bit of both. Biotin is good for follicle health - there is a lot of biotin in prenatal vitamins. Taking a vitamin meant for healthy hair, skin %26amp; nails would probably be a better choice for someone not eating for 2.
It is the Vitamins K, and B12, and D in the prenatal vitamins that help with your hair growth...
You also consume alot more calcium in dairy products, which also help aid in i.. many peoples hair grows at a different rate, so yours may grow at a quicker rate than someone else that is pregnant
depending cause after and a little before your baby is born you hair falls a little actually so maybe its the vitamin
pregnancy hormones
Both, I believe
From personal experience
I took prenatal vitamins for months (not being pregnant) and it didn't do a thing for my hair.
Its' not that Prenatal Vitamins speed up hair growth. It is it makes your hair alot healthier with the additional nutrients that you are consuming. I have noticed by my own experience my hair grows healthier and longer but, not faster.
