What are some ways to style curly hair?

ok im 12 and my bf dumped me but he still wants us to be ';friends.'; i think i can win him back again and everyone advises me to change my hairstyle. it is curly but not curls. i get this gell and crunch my hair with it and then blowdry it(u kno wat i mean??). and i waer it down like that EVERY DAY. i want to change it up but i dont kno any cute ways to do it and still keep it curly, the way i LUV it.any ideas/suggestions??What are some ways to style curly hair?
Maybe you should get rid of the curly look altogether? lol. If he dumped you, i doubt he cares about just about your hair. If you really must change, then try straightening it. If you do, make sure you use heat defense!

well, you could get a perm so scrunching wouldn't be necessary, and then wear it in all different updo's and styles. but thats your choice.
