you do this by brushing back your hair into a pony with your fingers (keep it bumpy its cuter that way) its adorable if you add a thin head band in fact that's how I wore my hair today.(:

you can do this two ways:
1-take the strands and tie them in a pony or clip them together in the back
2-bobby pin them like an inch or so away from your part

Hair styles for curly hair?
my hair is a little past my shoulder, permed to a sort of crimpy sort of spirally curl, and its brown. i permed it like 4 days ago. what should i do?Hair styles for curly hair?
as for curling it think twice about a curling iron, I'd use a flat iron just because its better for you hair, its quicker and easier.

i have tight little curls and school's about to start. so i'd like some cool hairstyles. nothing too big, somethin that'd take 30-40min or less. i usually just put it up but im going to high school and i'd like to look different every now and then ya know.

hey well I have curly hair too and I feel your pain. But the best and cutest hair style is put mousse in your hair. Absolutely gorgeous. But also put a messy bun with messy curls coming out. I don't know how long your hair is, but if it is long like mine, I put different types of braids and ya. But here are several pictures because I really want to help you because I had this same problem and someone helped me. Oh and don't straighten it always just once in a while. I think really tight curls are awesome!! What color is your hair? If it's dark put some highlights!! Also, how long is it?? I say just go natural, and if you don't like that put some creams that ease frizz and have at it!!
You can put it in a low ponytail and with a flower clip (pink) on your right side. LEave it down, have a hairband in your hair; Put mousse in it, it'll look good. OR straighten it! OR straighten it, and then curl it, like medium curls...thatll look pretty.

i do my hair half up in a barrette with a few pieces out at the front, braids work well, or try pulling the sides back with pretty combs. the trick is just to experiment when you have free time and nowhere to go. good luck!

Heyy, I have like naturally curly hair and like a side fringe sort of thing with lots of volume in it - it's hard to explain - but I only wear my fringe when my hair is down. My hair goes frizzy very easily i find it hard to wear it out without it going into a big poofy, frizzy mess.

I suggest straightening it, or maybe plaiting/braiding it before you go to sleep as this could tame your hair a bit.

My opinion is that very curly hair looks best when it's worn short. If it's allowed to grow long, the attractive curls become a tangled, bushy-looking mess. However, it's sometimes hard to find a stylist who can cut curly hair properly.
Humid weather seems to make hair curl up tighter, while dry weather makes it straighter. People with curly or wavy hair may need to adapt their hair style to the season of the year.
Some styles that might work well with medium-length curly hair are up-dos, French braids, or chignons. The curls keep the style in place far better than straight hair does.
Frizziness can be caused by harsh shampoos, brushing with something other than a natural-bristle brush, or just plain split ends. A good hair stylist can recommend products that will tame down frizziness.
At a store one time, I saw a woman who had short, dark ';angel curls'; all over her head. It was a darling style. I briefly considered getting a permanent so I could look like that, but I had to face the fact that as it grew out I would look very strange. But if your hair grows out curly, that's a style you could keep up.

A good hairstyle is when you get all of most of your hairs (leave out some strands in the front) and tie it up into a messy bun in the back up high. Leave out the strands and the front and put them in front of your face. Maybe some hair gel could be helpful for the loose strands. (Everything is loose, nothing's tight.)

I would work with it, i personally LOVE curly hair. i too have curly hair. try to tie it up. or leave it down. well, it depends on what kind of curly hair you have. if you have really curly hair like a poodle, i would tie it up, bc it looks nice. if you have like curls that you can make with a curler, then i would leave it down. i have the curls that you make with a curler. so if this doesn't help ill give you a link to a website for ppl with curly hair and the types of styles that you can use.
As a guy...I like to see women with curly hair. It has to be long though and I know it's a bigger pain in the butt for a woman but it looks really sexy when it's really taken care of. As a guy with curly hair myself...I just shave it all off because I hate it...lol

I have long big ringlet curly hair. It's about and 4-5 inches past my shoulder when its straight. and it curles up to the top of my shoulders.I hardly ever straigten it cuz it takes about 1 hour. If i cut it to short i have a lil fro on the top of my head. Nothing wrong with that its just it doesn't look good on me.

Usually I just use a lot of leave in conditioner (I have some organic kind) or pantene curly hair mousse because I find it works pretty well. Also, don't blow dry your hair or wash it with shampoo every day.Hair Styles for Curly Hair?
Leave in conditioners make your hair silky and shinier. It can also help reduce frizz a bit. I would say you should get Infuzium leave in conditioner. It doesn't come in a flashy bottle and it's not too expensive, but it does work. It comes in a gray bottle, and there are different kinds made to volumize your hair, repair it, add moisture, etc. I usually put some in a spray bottle and spray it in my hair after I have towel dried my hair, right out of the shower. Then I comb it in. It doesn't make your hair sticky or oily looking, don't worry about that. Just don't put any at the roots of your hair.
Since your hair is frizzy, you should get a hair serum. John Frida Frizz Ease hair Serum is good stuff. The knockoff brands work just as well, though. Only use a dime sized amount in the palm of your hands, and be very careful. It definitely tames frizz, but if you put on too much your hair can look oily.
Healthy hair is more manageable, beautiful hair. Once a week I moisten my hair and rub my conditioner (If you want to keep your curls big and bouncy and cute, then you may want to use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner) all through it. I pop on a shower cap and sleep that way through the night. In the morning, I shampoo my hair and wash the conditioner out. This will really keep your hair soft, healthy and beautiful.
I would also keep a curling iron with a large barrel around, in case you have a funky curl that you would like to repair. Keep some hairspray and mousse around...they keep your pretty curls in all day =]

I'm a fan of half-buns with curls poking out. A bit hard to explain, but I'll try! Also - I've got waist length hair, not sure how this works on shorter hair. I pull it up to my crown and start twisting it counter clockwise, then letting it coil in on itself on the top of my head. Rather than letting all of it coil in on itself I'll stop halfway or two thirds of the way, wrap a hair elastic around the bun, and let the curls droop over. Once its secure, its easy to arrange the curly ends left out so they go over the bun, or fall down the sides.

Easy hair styles for curly hair?
i have naturally thick and curly hair, which i love, but i have no idea how to do anything with it.
I usually wash it every morning, comb though it with a brush (it works the best for unknotting the otherwise crazy knots), and then add some gel, spray, mouse or whatever product i'm using at the time and let it air dry.
I know that a lot of people say not to wash it every day, and to style it with ';day old hair';, but how can i do that when i need to wash it every time i want to get through it and get rid of all of the tangles and frizz.
Site recommendations would be nice as well.
